About us

Built in Australia, inside a working vet clinic.

ApexHQ Vet was not designed in a meeting room. It was built by software and systems engineers sitting next to vets, nurses and receptionists, watching where the day gets stuck, and fixing it.

Our story

It started with a vet who was tired of typing.

Every vet we spoke to told us the same thing. The consult was the good part. What came after was the problem: notes typed up at the end of the day, phone calls chasing owners about tablets, no-shows, and a booking system that did not talk to anything else.

So we did not start with a product. We started with a clinic. A team of software and systems engineers spent months inside a multi-site veterinary group, sitting in on consults, working the front desk, and following pet owners home to see what happened to the plan once the visit was over. Long days, a lot of late nights, and a lot of listening.

What we built from that is one platform that follows the whole visit: online booking that writes straight into the practice software, an AI assistant that drafts the notes while the vet is with the patient, and an app that takes the care plan home with the pet owner and brings them back when it is time.

Everything runs on Australian servers, is supported by an Australian team, and every feature has to pass three tests before it ships: does it make the clinic more precise, more connected to its pet owners, or better at keeping them.

How we built it

Three rules we stuck to.

Live in a clinic first

Nothing goes to other clinics until it has run for real at ours: real bookings, real consults, real pet owners. If it slows a vet down, it goes back to the workshop.

The vet is always in charge

The AI drafts, the vet decides. No note, care plan or result reaches a pet owner without a clinician reading it first. That is a rule, not a setting.

Keep it in Australia

Data hosted in Sydney, support in your time zone, and a business that pays Australian engineers. We never train AI on a clinic's data, and we put that in writing.

Who we are

Leadership

Backed by a team of software and systems engineers, and the vets and nurses who test every release on the clinic floor.

How we work

Precision. Connection. Loyalty.

Every feature has to earn its place against these three words. If it does not make your clinic more precise, more connected or better at keeping clients, we leave it out.

Come and see it in a real clinic.

Twenty minutes, your practice software, a real consult. No slides.
